Every animal housing project is different. The species, size and number of animals, how they will use the space, the access you need and the surrounding property all affect the design. Instead of supplying a standard flatpack structure, we discuss what you need and create a bespoke solution to suit.
You may not have a large, level area available, and that’s fine. Our bespoke approach lets us work around existing buildings, boundaries, gardens and changes in ground level, whether it’s a residential garden or a rural property, paddock or larger outdoor space.

Kennels & Animal Runs
We build bespoke kennels for dogs of different sizes and requirements, designed around the available space and positioned to work with your garden, existing buildings and boundaries. A kennel can be combined with a secure outdoor run to give dogs extra space, with both designed together as one practical setup.
We also build secure runs for a range of other animals, providing a dedicated outdoor area that takes into account existing fencing, buildings, gardens and changes in ground level.
Stables & Equestrian Setups
We provide bespoke stables for horses and rural properties, planned around the available land, existing buildings, access and how the stable will be used. The layout surrounding a stable can be just as important as the structure itself, so we consider access, fencing and positioning when planning the project. Stables can also be combined with bespoke equestrian and agricultural fencing for paddocks, fields and rural properties to create a complete outdoor space.
Aviaries & Flight Runs
Aviaries and flight runs can be designed as part of the same project. We consider positioning, access and the available space to create a practical setup that suits your birds and works with the surrounding property.
At Shed & Fence Company, our projects are bespoke, not flatpack, and can be built on-site or off-site depending on the project and your property. We are a friendly two-man team with decades of combined experience in joinery, blockwork, stonework, fencing and landscaping.
Fencing and gates are often an important part of an animal housing project, so we can combine kennels, runs, stables or aviaries with timber, agricultural or equestrian fencing and bespoke gates. We can also help with other outdoor improvements, including sheds, garden rooms, workshops, decking, walls, pergolas, gazebos, porches, Indian paving and landscaping.
